no stopping momentum
So.... I love Metric.

The band recently did a live set for Myspace's Hey Play This which is archived at that site (but I'm not sure how much of the performance there....). I'm absolutely in love with their song "Joyride" so listen for that.
Anyway... I've been to a ton of really great shows over the past few weeks (Air, Foo Fighters, Morrissey, Mutemath/Eisley, Bright Eyes, The Cure/Metric/Download Festival in SF, Gruff Rhys, Maria Taylor, The Oohlas, etc etc), so much great music has been coming through LA and it's good to be going out... Pictures etc soon of Download Festival, Gruff Rhys, Maria Taylor, and The Oohlas.
And also a heads up, courtesy of You Set the Scene - Spiritualized will be at the Vista Theater on November 12 and 13. Tickets go on sale this Friday at Ticketweb.
